Privacy Policy

This is the one Privacy Policy that covers every course sold through SounDisruptr Academy — currently the Viral Music Promotion Course, the TikTok Virality Course, and The Middleman Method, and any course added later. It has not yet had a qualified Nigerian lawyer's review — do that before this page is relied on to settle a real dispute.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sound Disruptor Limited ("SounDisruptr," "we," "us") collects when you visit any SounDisruptr Academy course page or buy any course sold through academy.soundisruptr.com, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

Payment information. When you buy any course, your name, email, phone number, and payment details are collected by Selar, our payment processor, not by us directly. We receive your name, email, and phone number from Selar so we can deliver the course you bought and add you to its community, where the course has one.
Community information. Where a course includes a WhatsApp community, your phone number and profile photo become visible to every other member of that group, the same as in any WhatsApp group.
Website analytics. Our course pages use standard tracking (a Meta/Facebook pixel and, where applicable, similar tools) to measure how visitors reach a page and whether they complete a purchase. This tracking records page views on our pages; purchase confirmation itself is tracked on Selar's own checkout and thank-you pages, not on our pages directly.
Anything you send us directly. If you message our WhatsApp support line for any course with a question, we keep that conversation to help you and to improve how we answer future students.

2. What we do with it

We use your information to confirm your payment, deliver the specific course you bought, add you to the correct community where one exists, send you updates about that course, and respond to your questions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your data with any third party except where necessary to run the course itself — for example, Selar for payment processing.

3. Selar and other third parties

Selar processes payment for every course on this site and holds your payment details under its own privacy policy, which you should also read before paying. We are not responsible for how Selar, WhatsApp, or any other third-party service handles your data, since those are separate companies with their own terms.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your enrollment and payment records for as long as needed to support your access to whichever course you bought, including any guarantee that course offers, and as needed for our own business and tax records. You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you that we are not required to keep for those reasons.

5. Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also leave any course's WhatsApp community at any time, which stops other members from seeing your number in that group going forward, though it does not remove messages already sent.

6. Children

SounDisruptr Academy courses are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our courses or tools change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
